The Etsycars Zero Deposit Guarantee

Unlike traditional airport car rental brokers that freeze £1,000 to £2,500 (10,000 to 25,000 MAD) on credit cards, Etsycars operates on an unconditional 100% Zero Security Deposit policy. There are zero guarantee holds, zero card pre-authorisations, and zero franchise blocks at pickup. You pay solely your agreed daily rental fee: take the keys and drive away.

1. 100% Zero Deposit Policy Guaranteed

  • No security deposit is collected or pre-authorized at vehicle pickup.
  • No guarantee hold or credit card freeze will be placed on your bank account at any point before, during, or after your rental.
  • The renter pays exclusively the transparent daily rental rate agreed upon in the official written quotation.

2. Driver Qualifications & Identification

  • Minimum Age: The driver must be at least 21 years of age. Etsycars does not charge any "young driver surcharge" for drivers aged 21 to 25.
  • Driving Licence: The driver must present a valid national driving licence held for a minimum of one full continuous year. Licences written in the Latin alphabet (UK, EU, US, Canada, GCC) are accepted directly. Licences in non-Latin scripts (Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP).
  • Identification: International visitors must present their original physical passport. Moroccan citizens and residents must present their National Identity Card (CIN).
  • Additional Drivers: Up to two additional qualified drivers may be registered on the rental contract for an optional supplement of 25 MAD per day.

3. Airport Curbside Delivery & Live Flight Tracking

  • Curbside Meeting: Our representative meets you directly outside the public arrivals hall customs exit at any of Morocco's nine international airports, holding a personalized greeting board.
  • Flight Radar Monitoring: Customers are required to provide their arrival flight number. We track flights live via radar. If your flight is delayed by 1, 2, or 4 hours, our representative will adjust automatically and meet you upon touchdown at no extra charge.
  • Condition Inspection: Prior to key handover, a joint 3-minute video/photographic inspection of the vehicle's bodywork, interior, odometer, and fuel gauge is conducted and documented on the digital contract.

4. Insurance Cover & Roadside Assistance

  • Mandatory Cover: All rentals include Third-Party Liability insurance (Responsabilité Civile) in accordance with Moroccan motor insurance legislation, plus Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
  • 24/7 Roadside Assistance: Every contract includes round-the-clock nationwide roadside breakdown assistance throughout the Kingdom of Morocco, accessible via direct telephone and WhatsApp (+212 660-542353).
  • Exclusions: Insurance cover is voided in cases of gross negligence, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, carrying hazardous cargo, incorrect refueling (e.g. diesel into petrol), loss or damage of vehicle keys, or driving on unauthorized non-paved tracks (off-road desert sand dunes).

5. Fuel Policy (Fair Same-to-Same)

  • The vehicle is delivered with a recorded fuel level (e.g. 1/4, 1/2, or full tank) indicated clearly on the handover report.
  • The renter is required to return the vehicle with the equivalent fuel level.
  • No inflated refueling service charges or administrative penalties are assessed if returned with the correct level.

6. Geographical Scope & Prohibited Usages

  • Moroccan Territory Only: All Etsycars vehicles are licensed exclusively for use within the sovereign territory of the Kingdom of Morocco.
  • Border & Ferry Prohibition: Vehicles may not be boarded onto maritime ferries to Europe or transported across international land borders under any circumstances.
  • Road Surfaces: Vehicles must be operated on paved national highways, motorways, and asphalt secondary roads. Standard economy hatchbacks may not be driven on unpaved off-road desert pistes or sand dunes.

7. Cancellation, Changes & Flight Disruptions

  • Free Cancellation: Reservations may be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 24 hours prior to scheduled airport pickup.
  • Flight Cancellations: In the event of airline flight cancellation or severe disruption, customers may cancel or reschedule immediately with zero financial penalty by sharing their airline notice on WhatsApp.

8. Fines, Highway Tolls & Vehicle Return

  • Traffic Violations: The renter is solely responsible for any fines, automated radar speeding tickets, or parking citations incurred during the rental period under the Moroccan Code de la Route.
  • Highway Tolls: Motorway tolls on Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) are paid directly by the renter at toll booths.
  • Return Protocol: On departure day, the vehicle is returned curbside at the airport departure drop-off lane. A rapid 2-minute visual check is conducted, keys are handed over, and the renter proceeds directly to flight check-in with zero deposit refund delay.
