All data processing conducted by Etsycars complies strictly with Moroccan Dahir n° 1-09-15 of 22 Safar 1430 (February 18, 2009) enacting Law n° 09-08 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, regulated by the Commission Nationale de Contrôle de la Protection des Données à Caractère Personnel (CNDP).

3. Information We Collect & Purpose of Processing

We collect only the minimal information necessary to fulfill your car rental request and satisfy statutory transport requirements:

• Identification Details: Full name, nationality, and passport or Moroccan National ID (CIN) number. This is required by the Moroccan Ministry of Equipment and Transport for standard vehicle rental contract registration.
• Driver's Credentials: Driving licence number, country of issuance, and date of issue to verify legal driving eligibility (minimum 1 year holding period).
• Travel Logistics: Arrival flight number, scheduled landing date and time, and delivery airport. Used exclusively to track live runway arrivals so our airport agent greets you without delay.
• Direct Contact: Telephone number and WhatsApp contact for curbside handover coordination, dispatching greeting agent details, and providing 24/7 roadside assistance.

4. Payment Security & Stripe PCI-DSS Level 1 Tokenization

When you choose to pay online via card, your payment is processed directly by Stripe Inc., a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider (the highest level of security certification in the global payments industry).

• Etsycars servers never see, transmit, or store your 16-digit payment card number, CVV security code, or expiration date.
• All card communications are encrypted end-to-end via TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.
• Because Etsycars operates a 100% Zero Deposit policy, no pre-authorization holds or security guarantee freezes are ever placed against your card.

5. WhatsApp Communications Protocol

When you contact us or receive booking confirmations via WhatsApp (+212 660-542353), conversations are protected by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption. We utilize WhatsApp strictly for operational delivery updates, rental contract delivery, and emergency roadside assistance. We never send unsolicited marketing messages or share contact records with third-party advertisers.

6. Cookies & Local Browser Storage

We believe in tracker-free browsing:

• We do not use advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) or third-party behavioral profiling trackers.
• We do not sell your browsing habits or site interactions.
• We utilize strictly functional local storage (localStorage) within your browser solely to remember your preferred language (EN, FR, ES), theme, and saved rental vehicle calculations on your own device.

7. Data Retention & Your Legal Rights

Under Moroccan Law 09-08 and GDPR, you possess absolute rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of Access & Rectification: You may request a copy of the data we hold concerning your rental agreement at any time.
• Right of Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Upon completion of your rental and settlement of all contractual obligations, you may request the deletion of your personal records, subject only to mandatory Moroccan tax and transport audit retention regulations (10-year statutory requirement for commercial agreements).
